A little boy, Jimmy, walks in to a dental clinic to have his teeth checked out by the dentist. After several minutes of checking Jimmy's teeth, the dentist says, "See how much your gums are bleeding? That means you don't floss enough." Jimmy replies, "See how much my gums are bleeding? Maybe if you stopped poking them with that sharp spinning/vibrating object, they won't be bleeding that much. And it would probably help if you looked at my teeth directly instead of looking at them through a giant electronic microscope and end up having to guess how close that sharp instrument is to my gums/teeth..."
